Dylan's Yoga Experience
Dylan is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance who has completed the 200 hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training and the 200 hour Essential Yoga Teacher Training at Open Sky Yoga. She is also enrolled in the Ashaya Yoga 500 hour Yoga Therapy training with Todd Norian.
Dylan’s yoga classes and private consultations offer a unique blend of approaches enhanced by years of personal spiritual work and meditation. Her classes are infused with a deep understanding of the dynamics of positive change and the spiritual foundation of yoga within a unique, user-friendly approach. All of her classes are a creative blend of the best of Kripalu, Iyengar, Vinyasa flow and Hatha styles of yoga and are geared specifically to the needs of participants.
Dylan has studied with senior Kripalu teachers since the early 1980’s and has studied Self-Awakening Yoga with Don Stapleton. She has taken workshops and classes with Baron Baptiste, Gregor Singleton, Dharma Mittra, Suzie Hurley, Colleen Saidman, Rodney Yee, Ellen Saltonstall and David Swenson. She has also attended the Restorative Yoga Teacher training with Judith Lasater.

Dylan offers mixed level, beginner, gentle, restorative and specialty yoga classes. Each class offers a unique opportunity to experience the best of traditional yoga with a contemporary, personal growth orientation. You will experience yoga asanas to warm up, strengthen, lengthen and support healing of the body. Flowing movement or holding poses in stillness facilitate increased stamina, focus, improved alignment and relaxation. Breathing techniques, meditation, inspirational readings, bandhas, mudras, sacred sound & creative movement will further deepen your experience.
Chair Yoga Classes
Dylan offers specialty Chair Yoga Classes designed to promote healing, emotional and spiritual upliftment and fitness for people of all abilities. Each class offers options for seated or standing with chair support and includes warm-up with spinal and other joint mobility movements, poses to increase strength and flexibility and opportunities to increase balance, lung capacity, mental clarity, circulation, coordination and relaxation. Movements and poses are used to promote functional fitness, balance and movement efficiency. Drawing from traditional yoga, senior yoga fitness and motivational enhancement techniques, participants are supported in finding the correct experience to meet their unique needs.
